About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join our team in Morden, UK. As a valued member of our client's maintenance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining equipment at their manufacturing facility that produces high-quality gas cylinders.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 Apprenticeship (or equivalent trade experience) in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, with previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or scientific environment. A team player with excellent communication skills and a good command of English is essential for this role.

As a Maintenance Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for following operating procedures carefully while upholding safety, health, quality, and environmental standards. You will work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to plan and execute both planned preventative maintenance and defect maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Identify and report defects or issues with equipment
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement maintenance plans
