About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Hanover (Scotland) Housing Association Limited. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and housing support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and housing support to customers in line with their care plans.
  • Assist with personal mobility support, daily personal tasks, and general housekeeping.
  • Administer medication from level 1-4.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a dignified, safe, and stimulating service.

Requirements
  • A genuine passion for helping people.
  • Able to demonstrate Hanover Scotland values in Inclusion, accountability, respect, and collaboration.
  • Ability to work flexibly and travel between developments within the area.
  • Ability to relate empathetically to people and recognise their right to choose and independence.
  • Willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site, covering a 24-hour shift pattern.
  • Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
