Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Co-Packing Operations Technician to join our team at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. As a Co-Packing Operations Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, as well as maintaining a clean and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proficiently operate and maintain co-pack operation equipment, including batch/blending, packaging, digital can printing, and sanitation systems.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operations and meet production objectives.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, and escalate issues as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year of production brewing experience preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a consumer-packaged manufacturing environment required.
  • 3 years of experience in a consumer-packaged manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic mechanical repair experience preferred.
  • Proficient with MS365 Office suite and CMMS for creation and completion of work orders.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot processes.
  • Proven track record of comprehensive understanding of raw materials handling, batch/blending operations, filling operations, packaging operations, digital can printing procedures, COP, CIP, sanitation, and sterilization techniques.
  • Understanding of specific beverage process terminologies and basic understanding of math, physics, chemistry, microbiology, mechanical, and computer skills.
  • Forklift Certification within 90 days required.
  • Narrow Isle Lift Certification within 90 days required.
  • Scissor Lift Certification within 90 days required.
  • Boom Lift Certification within 90 days required.
  • Cart Caddy Certification within 90 days required.
