We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Principal Verifier in Drama. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and verification, with a proven track record of delivering Drama qualifications.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Communicate and maintain national standards for Drama units within your remit.
  • Ensure that all tasks associated with the quality assurance of internal assessments are carried out within the conditions, timescales, and arrangements set by the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
  • Manage a team of quality assurance specialists to deliver external quality assurance for Drama units, ensuring that standards are maintained.
  • Undertake verification activities, typically during February and May, to ensure that Drama qualifications meet national standards.
  • Work closely with the Scottish Qualifications Authority to develop and implement quality assurance strategies for Drama qualifications.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in quality assurance and verification, with a strong background in Drama qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of quality assurance specialists.
