We are seeking a highly skilled Drama Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at the Scottish Qualifications Authority. As a Principal Verifier, you will be responsible for maintaining national standards for Drama units and ensuring the quality assurance of internal assessments.

The successful candidate will have experience in the quality assurance model for verification and currently deliver a range of Drama qualifications. They will also be responsible for managing team members in the delivery of external quality assurance for Drama units.

The role requires up to 5 days release in the full contract period and may involve duties outside of working hours. The successful candidate will be required to undertake duties in their own time and will be entitled to a responsibility fee, release compensation, and a daily rate for duties undertaken in own time.

The Principal Verifier will be responsible for communicating and maintaining national standards for the units within their remit. They will also ensure that all tasks associated with the quality assurance of internal assessments are carried out within the conditions, timescales, and arrangements set by SQA.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake verification activity, typically during February and May. They will also be responsible for managing team members in the delivery of external quality assurance for Drama units.
