This role will require a professional with strong administration skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the transportation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and resolving customer service contacts, ensuring operational issues are proactively reported, and managing driver and delivery issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve customer service contacts and queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactively report and track operational issues impacting customer shipments.
- Action customer complaints and progress to conclusion.
- Participate in customer projects and provide administrative support.
- Manage driver and delivery issues, ensuring correct paperwork and PODs are issued and returned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a busy administration role and dealing with customers.
- Strong administration and organizational skills.
- Able to deal tactfully with a wide variety of people.
- Strong IT systems experience, including a sound knowledge of Microsoft applications.
