Pertemps Telford is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to join their team. As a key member of the sales department, you will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient service to customers. Your primary objective will be to identify and target potential customers, including egg producers, farms, and food processing companies within the UK and Eire. You will generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and company visits. Your duties will include responding to customer enquiries, providing product information, and assisting with order placement. You will also maintain accurate records of sales activities, orders, and customer interactions. Additionally, you will prepare and process sales orders and invoices, and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products or services. Your role will be office-based with travelling away from home to be expected. Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer enquiries, providing product information and assisting with order placement.
• Identify and target potential customers, including egg producers, farms and food processing companies within the UK and Eire.
• Generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking and company visits.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, orders and customer interactions.
• Prepare and process sales orders and invoices and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products or services.
• Assist in the preparation and presenting of sales reports and forecasts which are consistent with the organisational requirements.
