The Role: Care Companion
We are seeking kind-hearted individuals to join our team as Care Companions in Lyndhurst. As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for providing companionship and conversation to our clients, fostering a supportive and positive environment. This part-time role involves assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errand running, as well as helping with personal care activities including dressing, bathing, and grooming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and conversation to our clients, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
- Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errand running, ensuring our clients' needs are met.
- Help with personal care activities including dressing, bathing, and grooming, promoting our clients' independence and dignity.
- Encourage and support our clients in physical activities and exercises tailored to their abilities, improving their overall well-being.
- Remind clients to take their medication and assist with mobility around the home, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social events, providing transportation when necessary, and enhancing their quality of life.
