About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team at Oliver House School. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with young people with Autism and severe learning disabilities, providing sensory recommendations and conducting direct therapeutic work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments to establish the needs of our young people
  • Monitor progress and carry out observations
  • Provide sensory recommendations and conduct direct therapeutic work
  • Work as part of our multi-disciplinary team to improve the lives of our young people

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working with young people with Autism and severe learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey sensitive information
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work
