Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, supporting senior staff, advising clients, and drafting key planning documents.

  • Support senior planners on large-scale projects
  • Manage smaller planning applications independently
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions
  • Prepare comprehensive planning appraisals of land and building proposals
  • Write planning reports and draft applications
  • Engage with planning officers, consultants, and third parties
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry professionals
  • Develop innovative solutions and strategies for projects
  • Manage smaller projects from inception to completion
  • Stay up-to-date with planning policies and regulations

Key Qualifications: RTPI-accredited degree or master's in Planning or a related field, and Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards it.
