Join Our Team as a Planning Consultant in Chester or Wilmslow

We are looking for an experienced Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Planning Consultant, you will work on various projects, support senior staff, and draft key planning documents.

About the Job:
  • Support senior planners on large-scale projects
  • Handle smaller planning applications independently
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions
  • Prepare comprehensive planning appraisals of land and building proposals
  • Write planning reports and draft applications
  • Engage with planning officers, consultants, and third parties to ensure smooth project progress
  • Develop innovative solutions and strategies for projects
  • Manage smaller projects from inception to completion
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant planning policies and regulations
  • Represent the team at external events and prepare presentations
What You Need:
  • RTPI-accredited degree or master's in Planning or a related field
  • Relevant experience in a planning role within the public or private sector
