Therapeutic Residential Care Leader

About the Role:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure the well-being and safety of young people in our care.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic care plans, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes to meet individual needs.
  • Lead and manage a team of support workers to deliver high-quality, child-centered care and achieve outstanding outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records, including care plans, risk assessments, and meeting minutes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior management role within children's residential care or supported accommodation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Ofsted standards, relevant legislation, and the needs of Looked After Children.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with young people, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
