About the Role

Nimbuscare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team in Selby. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be friendly and welcoming, ensuring an efficient and professional reception provision.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for patients & visitors arriving.
  • Report and action facility issues and faults where required.
  • Escalate Health & Safety and facility issues to the General Manager / Assistant General Manager.
  • Support the clinical teams working in our services with basic requests.
  • Manage the waiting room area whilst patients wait to be seen.
  • Interact with patients to provide information, signposting, and advice.
  • Demonstrate a competent level of interpersonal skills.
  • Manage and prioritise own workload.
  • Ensure the clinical rooms are stocked where appropriate.
  • Support the Operational Services Team with routine workload booking patients into clinics for other contracts / services.
  • Complete administrative tasks as directed.

We deliver Urgent Care services in collaboration with the hospital and GP practices in York, Scarborough, Whitby, Malton, and Selby. We also provide community-based frailty care, which focuses on treating people in the community where we can.

Person Specification

  • Able to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Understand and observe strict confidentiality.
  • Minimum level 2 Maths and English or equivalent (GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 or above).
  • Ability to travel across various sites when required.
  • 6 months minimum experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in working with SystmOne.
