About the Role

Nimbuscare Ltd is seeking a skilled Receptionist to join their team in York. As the first point of contact for patients, you will provide a warm and welcoming experience, ensuring an efficient and professional reception provision.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for patients and visitors
  • Report and action facility issues and faults
  • Escalate Health & Safety and facility issues to the General Manager / Assistant General Manager
  • Support clinical teams with basic requests
  • Manage the waiting room area
  • Interact with patients to provide information, signposting, and advice
  • Demonstrate a competent level of interpersonal skills
  • Manage and prioritise own workload
  • Ensure clinical rooms are stocked
  • Support the Operational Services Team with routine workload

Nimbuscare Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to be a collaborative and agile provider that cares for its people and patients. We deliver Urgent Care services in collaboration with the hospital and GP practices in York, Scarborough, Whitby, Malton, and Selby.

Requirements

  • Able to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Understand and observe strict confidentiality
  • Minimum level 2 Maths and English or equivalent
  • Ability to travel across various sites when required
  • 6 months minimum experience in a similar role
  • Experience in working with SystmOne
