Job Title: Catering Service Manager
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage all aspects of our large kitchen catering service.
This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing daily menu operations, leading and supervising a team of kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and execute daily menu operations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Lead and supervise a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of performance.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
- Grade 1 / Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including those related to food handling and preparation.
The annual salary for this position is £18,113 - £18,984 (term-time adjusted), offering a competitive package that reflects your skills and experience.
Background Check:This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults, requiring membership in the PVG Scheme. The preferred candidate will undergo a background check prior to employment, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and protection.
