Job Summary: As a key member of the South Ayrshire Council team, you will be responsible for managing production kitchen activities and providing catering services to meet the needs of various functions. Your expertise in coordinating events and arranging transportation of meals will be invaluable in delivering exceptional experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Organizing and participating in internal and external function catering as required.
  • Managing the provision of catering services within the principal production unit and other satellite units.

Working Arrangements: This full-time position involves working Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 3.30pm, with a term-time working pattern. You can expect a competitive hourly rate from £14.43 to £15.52, equivalent to an annual salary from £22,621 to £25,220.

Regulated Work: This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults. The preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to any formal offer of employment being made. Additionally, you may be required to cover the cost of the PVG check.
