We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Glasgow Airport. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the terminal building.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained on a daily basis by completing a range of cleaning activities, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, and maintaining washrooms, toilets, offices, and external areas.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while adhering to company expectations, rules, and procedures.
- Properly handle hazardous materials, use uniform and PPE correctly, and demonstrate safe behavior actions landside and airside.
- Maintain professionalism in appearance and manner towards colleagues, clients, and other individuals within the airport and work location.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to work independently and use initiative. Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work. Good communication skills and commitment to quality.
- Ability to quickly adapt to a busy operational environment.
- Able to work without constant supervision and follow management instructions.
- Reliable and flexible.
- Full training will be provided.
- Provide a 5-year checkable referencing history.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred, as is experience using a buffer/scrubber drier.
