Job Title: Airport Cleaning Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to oversee cleaning operations at Glasgow Airport. As an Airport Cleaning Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained while supporting the operations/deputy operations managers and senior supervisors in day-to-day operational management.

You will ensure that all team members carry out their cleaning duties correctly and on time in accordance with cleaning specification and task matrix. Additionally, you will prepare an informative handover for the incoming Senior Supervisor, including important information discussed during ADM, tasks incomplete from the previous shift, areas of focus, staffing issues, equipment, and machinery updates.

The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, be able to work independently, and use their own initiative. They must also have excellent communication skills and be committed to quality. Previous cleaning experience is preferred, as well as experience in using buffer/scrubber drier equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Support operations/deputy operations managers and senior supervisors in day-to-day operational management.
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained.
  • Liaise daily with the site management team and serving airport duty manager.
  • Prepare an informative handover for the incoming Senior Supervisor.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery.
Requirements:
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to quality.
  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in an airport setting.
  • Experience in using buffer/scrubber drier equipment.
