About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Trust Grade Doctor in Breast Surgery to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will be based predominantly at Castle Hill Hospital, working with a hardworking and forward-thinking clinical team led by Mr Brendan Wooler.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious doctor to develop their skills and experience in breast surgery, while contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Team
Our Breast Surgery Department is part of the Breast Cancer Centre for the Humber and Yorkshire Coast Cancer Network, serving a population of over 500 new breast cancers per year.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists, surgeons, and oncologists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Your Responsibilities
As a Trust Grade Doctor in Breast Surgery, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and treating patients with breast cancer and other breast-related conditions;
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and plan treatment;
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery;
- Contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives in breast surgery.
