An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Centenary theatres. A position has become available for a Preoperative support worker to join this dynamic theatre team.

We are looking to recruit staff, who can demonstrate a dynamic approach to their work, who has commitment, drive and enthusiasm to help in the development of our services.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role

The post holder is responsible for supporting the registered peri-operative practitioner in the delivery of direct patient care procedures and transfer, assisting in the maintenance of patient comfort.

The post holder will work flexibly along side team members to meet the needs of the service.

Communication and Relationship Skills
Supports patients and their families, through communicating
information using a variety of methods, to ensure effective understanding and reporting the outcome to the registered practitioner
in charge.

Contributes to the effective communication between members of the
multi disciplinary team, taking personal responsibility to update and
share information provides support for patients at all times by communicating effectively in order to meet their needs.

Knowledge, Training and Experience
Uses knowledge and experience to deliver routine tasks as agreed with
the peri-operative practitioner. Uses knowledge and experience to follow agreed policy and procedure
