Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Imaging Support Worker role at in the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust Breast Care Unit.
We invite expressions of interest from members of staff who wish to develop along the Breast Imaging career pathway.
You will be expected to complete an NVQ 3 in a healthcare related discipline, and will be expected to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to support patients through their breast imaging pathway, chaperoning and assisting with interventional breast procedures and facilitating the mammography film reading process.
We would like to hear from self-motivated, enthusiastic, suitably qualified persons who wish to develop their career.
Main duties of the job To work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing a high quality imaging service whilst maintaining a high level of patient care.
The requirement for a female to undertake this role is a Genuine Occupational Qualification and is exempt under section 7(2) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975.
