Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism and SEMH

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced teaching assistants to work with pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD and/or Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) in SEN Schools and Mainstream Primary Schools in Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessing the individual needs of the pupil and following their EHCP's
* Evaluating and reporting pupils' progress to teachers, carers and health care professionals
* Managing challenging behaviour in a positive and calm way

Requirements:

* Experience within Autism Spectrum Condition - ASC, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder - ADHD, and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health - SEMH
* Good communication skills and ability to see through the behaviour
* Experience of de-escalation techniques would be advantageous
