Job Summary:

AWE Plc Careers is seeking a highly skilled Principal Maintenance Safety Engineer to lead our Maintenance Safety Team within the Engineering Safety Organisation.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, managing, and assessing standards of competence for Maintenance Engineering Safety, as well as promoting and maintaining site standards for generic maintenance activities in line with SFG20 and asset manufacturer's recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting, managing, and assessing standards of competence for Maintenance Engineering Safety
  • Setting, promoting, and maintaining site standards for generic maintenance activities in line with SFG20 and asset manufacturer's recommendations
  • Assessing suitability of maintenance scope and service for maintenance delivery by AWE and contract personnel for compliance with relevant regulations
  • Reviewing legislative records pertaining to maintenance activities

AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight, and we will consider flexible working requests to accommodate your lifestyle. The salary package is £62,020 - £98,000, depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience.
