Health and Safety Compliance Specialist

We're looking for a skilled Health and Safety Compliance Specialist to join our team at LeMieux. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing policies to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Policies: Create and implement policies that ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain safety standards.
- Health & Safety Training: Develop health and safety training appropriate to the employee's role and seniority, ensuring employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely.
- Emergency Planning: Implement robust emergency plans, conduct drills, and monitor spend and identify cost-saving opportunities for facility operations, maintenance, and renovations.
- Vendor Management: Source, select, and manage external contractors and service providers for various facility needs, negotiating contracts and overseeing work to ensure it meets specifications and is completed on schedule.

What We Offer:
