Job Description

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to teach English Language and Literature to students aged 11-18. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving pupil performance and a commitment to equality of opportunity and inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities

  • To plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • To assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in English or a related subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.).
  • Experience of teaching English Language and Literature to students aged 11-18.
  • A track record of improving pupil performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
