Smart Teachers is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an English Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school in central London. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 to 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons that cater to a range of abilities.

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Prepare students for national assessments such as GCSEs and A-Levels, using innovative teaching methods to ensure academic success.
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources within the English department.
About You

We are looking for an English Teacher who possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications. A degree in English or a related subject is also essential. Strong subject knowledge of both English Language and Literature, with experience teaching at secondary level, is required.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential for this role.
