We are seeking a diligent Cleaning Operations Specialist to join our team at Childer Thornton School in Ellesmere Port.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas within educational premises. Key tasks include cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuuming, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting fixtures and fittings, and moving items of furniture as needed.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful applicant will also be required to:
- Assist with deep cleans during school holidays
- Participate in statutory and emergency procedures such as accident response and fire safety
- Attend meetings and contribute to team discussions
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional facilities management services.
The role requires excellent customer service skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and students.
A satisfactory enhanced DBS check will be necessary prior to commencement.
The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 12.5 hours per week, from 3pm to 5:30pm, term-time only, with additional deep clean duties during school holidays.
The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately £11,604 based on 12.5 hours per week at £10.90 per hour.
