Job Overview:
Asymchem Group is seeking a highly skilled Process Supervisor to join our team in the API Manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of process transfer from CRD laboratories to produce API for our customers and aid in the development of commercial manufacturing processes for transfer to Production Good System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement chemical processes, including evaluation of operability and safety, process safety information, and responsibility for safe operation in facilities.
- Collaborate with CRD personnel, partnering departments, CRD project teams, and local Scheduler to schedule and execute campaign plans.
- Provide input into the development and scale-up of safe, sustainable, and robust chemical processes.
- Issue campaign feedback reports and lead comprehensive post-action reviews for API-sub team participants.
- Proactively participate in or lead the implementation of new or underutilized manufacturing technologies and techniques for efficiency and versatility improvement in API facilities.
- Assist in the development and delivery of procedures and associated training.
- Maintain, develop, and utilize chemical and process engineering knowledge and experience in the development of the portfolio.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline (engineering or chemistry) with relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Relevant experience in an API manufacturing or API technical (process chemistry, process engineering) environment.
- New product introduction experience at clinical or commercial scale manufacturing is desirable.
- Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
