Job Description

As a key member of the Asymchem Group team, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and ensuring the efficient transfer of processes from CRD laboratories to API manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Development: Contribute to the development of safe, sustainable, and robust chemical processes, including the evaluation of process safety information and responsibility for the safe operation of processes.
  • Batch Planning and Management: Collaborate with the Planner Scheduler to plan and manage batches, ensuring the availability and status of raw materials, preparation and checking of batch documentation, and liaison with CRD support functions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, including the development and delivery of procedures and associated training.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with CRD personnel, partnering departments, CRD project teams, and the local Scheduler to schedule and execute campaign plans.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and self-development, developing others, and proactive involvement in keeping up with appropriate equipment and GMP training.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline (engineering or chemistry).
  • Experience: Relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a focus on process development and transfer.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of chemical and process engineering, with the ability to work in a dynamic operating environment and demonstrate flexibility to get the job done.
  • Personal Qualities: Comfortable working in a highly competent and self-motivated team, with the ability to deal with challenges and facilitate an environment of open and team-based communication.
