Job Overview:
The Process Supervisor will contribute to the transfer of processes from CRD laboratories to produce API for our customers and aid in the development of commercial manufacturing processes. This role will collaborate with CRD personnel, partnering departments, and the local Scheduler to schedule and execute campaign plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement chemical processes, ensuring operability and safety.
- Manage batch planning and execution, including raw material availability and batch documentation.
- Closure of batch and process documentation, including excursions and deviations.
- Provide input into process development and scale-up, ensuring safe and sustainable processes.
- Lead campaign feedback reports and post-action reviews for API-sub team participants.
- Support the implementation of new manufacturing technologies and techniques for efficiency improvement.
- Develop and deliver procedures and associated training.
- Maintain and develop chemical and process engineering knowledge and experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline (engineering or chemistry) with relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Relevant experience in API manufacturing or technical environments.
- Desirable: new product introduction experience at clinical or commercial scale manufacturing.
- Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Performance at a consistent level of excellence in a dynamic operating environment.
