About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Clinical Site Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Site Nurse Practitioner team, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and support to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participate in capacity management and bed state monitoring, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Support the development and implementation of education and training programs for nursing staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Significant post-registration experience in an acute setting, with a strong background in clinical leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of improving patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required.
