Job Description:

Application Support Role

As an Application Support Analyst at Leonardo, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of business-critical applications, including COTS products and internally developed solutions. Your primary goal will be to maintain high service availability and enable users to perform their daily tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor applications and services via a service management tool to identify and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues promptly, working closely with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, enhanced monitoring, and code changes to prevent future incidents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to user inquiries, and offering training and support as needed.
  • Cover holiday support for other team members, ensuring continuity of services and software support.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with users and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong investigation and diagnostic skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a focus on restoring services quickly.
  • Previous experience with software applications such as Siemens Team Center, Dassault Catia, IBM DOORs, ADOBE, and Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage but not essential.
