Senitor Associates, a leading technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join their internal IT department on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide first-line technical coordination, support, and delivery of first-line offerings. This will include incident and service request management, ticket logging and progress to resolution, issue investigation, and first-time fix resolution for unlocks and advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical support inquiries via various communication channels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams when necessary, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed documentation of support tickets and resolutions, ensuring accurate records and compliance with company policies.
- Provide training and support to customers on software and hardware usage, promoting effective adoption and utilization.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve product issues, ensuring seamless integration and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve service delivery and customer experience.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide out-of-hours support for both internal and external customers, ensuring 24/7 coverage and responsiveness.
- Maintain high levels of incident ownership through the incident lifecycle, ensuring satisfactory customer resolution and continuous improvement.
- Utilize IT service management tools to log, track, and manage customer tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates.
- Understand, adhere to, and promote IT security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems.
- Complete administrative tasks, acknowledging events, checking security logs, logging, and progressing change requests, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Be willing to carry out any other reasonable request, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced IT environment.
- Adhere to asset and access management policies and procedures, ensuring secure and controlled access to company resources.
- Perform tasks in support of data and information security, maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems.
