About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and self-motivated individual to join our Reablement service as a Care Support Specialist. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to manage their personal care within their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Assist with household chores and maintenance
- Encourage and support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records of individual's care plans and progress
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable, but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
