Cafe Back Of House Team Member

As a key member of the Tesco Cafe team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our cafe's back of house operations run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.
You will work closely with our cafe management team to prepare food, manage kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure will be essential in providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key responsibilities:
• Maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Preparing and serving food according to our cafe's menu and standards
• Managing food safety and hygiene regulations, including daily record-keeping
• Practicing FIFO stock rotation to ensure freshness and quality of food
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food
