About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Consultant to join our Broker Network Risk & Compliance (R&C) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide network members with compliance support through an annual programme of audit and health-check activities, as well as guidance and support on key regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be based in the South of the UK, ideally centrally or the South West, and will be required to travel nationwide, including overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is therefore essential.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves conducting visits and audits of allocated members' regulatory processes and systems and controls. The ideal candidate will have a broad and/or specialist knowledge of the FCA requirements in relation to general insurance, as well as the ability to anticipate likely changes or demands that may affect brokers/intermediaries.

  • Understand the Networks Proposition from strategy and objectives to operational infrastructure and performance.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of best practice in compliance and control frameworks.
  • Identify issues that pose significant risk to the Bravo Network companies and monitor progress of remedial actions.
  • Provide consultancy guidance and support to members on key general insurance regulatory requirements.
  • Report on Network member regulatory activity undertaken.
Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the FCA and key regulatory regimes applicable to general insurance. They will also have experience of working in a compliance consultancy role within a general insurance intermediary and comprehensive knowledge of best practice in compliance and control frameworks.

They will be a highly organised, focused, and proactive individual with strong relationship building, communication, and time management skills.
