About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Hartford Care. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records.
- Supervise and lead the care team, ensuring that residents receive the best possible care and that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you are up-to-date with best practice in care and support.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
- Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- A compassionate and caring nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
