Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Beechwood Care Home. As a RGN Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long-term service users, prioritizing their health and well-being.
- Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times, adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
- Be competent and confident in managing people with long-term health conditions, providing individualized care and support.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs, working within your scope of practice.
- Proactively identify, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for service users, as appropriate, and intervene in emergency situations.
- Recognize and work within your competence level, seeking support when needed.
- Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Support, manage, and guide support workers on a daily basis, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid NMC Pin and be registered with the NMC.
- Ability to work on shift/rota patterns, including night shifts and weekends.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
