At Polaris Community, we are seeking a Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves providing flexible, individual residential care packages for children and young people in South/West Yorkshire.

We invest heavily in the continued professional development of our employees, offering full training to achieve an Apprenticeship Level 4 diploma. Your day will be spent promoting the welfare and protecting the safety of our young people, establishing positive relationships, and encouraging their individual interests.

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will work in a nurturing environment that prioritizes the best outcomes for each child. Our community works collectively to provide high-quality care, with 100% of our inspected services rated as good or outstanding by Ofsted.

Your estimated salary is £11.93 per hour (unqualified) or £12.20 per hour (qualified), plus £45 per sleep-in. You will also receive holiday accrual, supervisions with your line manager, and opportunities for personal growth.

The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, where you can make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
