At Schneider Electric, we are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless integration and execution of Digital Offers into existing major contract customers.

The successful candidate will work closely with account managers to specify, design, and deploy IOT systems to digitally monitor the condition of large-scale power, UPS, and cooling installations within the data centre sector.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing installed base surveys and collecting necessary information to provision the required digital platform.
  • Coordinating with other SE Field Services Engineers, subcontractors, and customers to commission the IT/IOT element of digital services.
  • Proceeding to end-to-end testing and validation to ensure successful connection.
  • Working with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to liaise with customer project teams and coordinate intrusive installation/maintenance activities.
  • Collaborating with the Connected Service Hub teams to ensure efficient provisioning and operations.
  • Reviewing customer electrical distribution networks to identify critical assets for condition monitoring.
  • Identifying existing Scada, BMS, or monitoring systems in place with the customer and assessing integrations required.
  • Defining the architecture and selecting appropriate devices (gateways, communication agents) for efficient data retrieval from assets.
  • Supporting Project Managers and Business Development Managers as the high-level technical lead interface with customers, including discussions with C-level stakeholders.
  • Supporting customer projects on all connectivity matters, including cybersecurity and analytics.
  • Identifying areas for asset management value proposition enhancement through broadened services or increased asset coverage.

We are looking for a candidate with an electrical biased degree and previous engineering experience, ideally with UPS or IoT. A driving license and proficiency in creating technical submissions and tracking projects through completion milestones are also essential.
