Business and Digital Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business and Digital Support Officer to join our Rail team. As a key member of our Business Development, Bid, and Marketing teams, you will provide critical support and coordination to ensure the successful delivery of our business development and bid activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Business Development Director and the Rail Business Development, Bid, and Marketing teams.
- Act as a Salesforce champion, ensuring the Business Development and Bid Teams maintain Salesforce to Telent business standards.
- Manage shared inboxes, portals, and bid folders, ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Support the Bid Team with completing and submitting supplier questionnaires, managing Oracle bid booking codes, and creating Cisco supply only quotations.
- Organize meetings, take notes, and share meeting notes with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure project information is fed to the marketing department for socials and case studies.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Business Development and Bid Teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience of Salesforce or similar CRM solution.
- Experience of SharePoint.
- Experience of Oracle.
- Experience of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Previous experience in a Bid or Business Development environment, with knowledge of public procurement tendering.
Desirable:
- Experience of CRM management or Business Development management.
- Understanding of operational, commercial, and financial aspects of contracts.
