Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Digital Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software applications using a range of programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring it meets our coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in daily scrum calls and internal meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the team.
  • Contribute to testing and debugging of code, correcting errors, and re-testing to achieve error-free results.
  • Document work in accordance with agreed internal standards, including GUNIT test coverage.

Requirements

  • Practical experience working as a developer in an agile team, supporting and developing enterprise-level applications.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React JS, including JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.
  • Experience with ReactJS workflows like Flux, Redux, Create React App, data structure libraries.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs.
  • Java/JVM languages are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of a Test-driven approach, including exposure to either TDD or BDD.
  • Experience of digital products is an advantage.
