Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Digital Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications using a range of programming languages and technologies, including JavaScript and React JS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and our internal coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software applications.
Requirements
- Practical experience working as a developer in an agile team, supporting and developing enterprise-level applications.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React JS, including JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.
- Experience with ReactJS workflows like Flux, Redux, Create React App, data structure libraries.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Java/JVM languages are advantageous.
- Knowledge of a Test-driven approach including exposure to either TDD or BDD would be a strong advantage.
- Experience of digital products would be an advantage.
