About the Role:

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN General) to fill the position of Regional Clinical Development Nurse. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the clinical governance and quality of care in four care homes located across the South West region.

Responsibilities will include supporting the performance of each home, ensuring it meets the highest clinical standards. This involves reviewing clinical governance databases and KPIs monthly, analysing results, and identifying practical strategies to ensure all regulations are met and continuous improvement of care is delivered.

Working closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff in each home, the successful candidate will support the continual improvement of standards and help implement key actions to address any issues that arise.

About You:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a Registered Nurse (RN General) with current NMC registration, provide evidence of continued professional development, and possess a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements. As an experienced nurse, you should have worked in a care home environment and be a confident clinical mentor, including with newly-qualified nurses. Strong leadership skills, a sharp analytical mind, and the ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on action plans are essential for success in this role.
