About the Role
We are seeking a Health Visitor to join our team in Hackney and the City. As a Health Visitor, you will be responsible for delivering the Healthy Child Programme and working closely with GPs, Early Years Settings, and Nurseries.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as the named Health Visitor for a caseload of children linked to a GP practice
- Manage vulnerable children, attend Child Protection Case Conferences, Core Group, Child in Need meetings, and other professional meetings
- Lead on key interventions and health promotion activities, such as delivery of integrated development reviews using the ASQ questionnaire
- Oversee the health promotion work undertaken by the nursery nurse team, working closely with parents and children's centers to deliver personalized advice and support

- Health Visiting professional qualification with entry onto 3rd part of NMC

- Demonstrate an understanding of recent developments in Health Visiting

- Have an awareness of Patient/Public Involvement in service development
