Financial Controller

This is an exciting opportunity to join RG Consultancy as a Financial Controller, with a chance for future growth and development.

The role is a hands-on, all-round position that requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work closely with the Founder, Senior Management, and colleagues at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalise monthly management accounts and management information packs, including commentary, and report directly to the Managing Director.
  • Evaluate the company's financial performance and identify opportunities for value creation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and operational management team, providing clear and concise financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Oversee the entire process of rebate management and reconciliations.
  • Conduct VAT reconciliations and handle VAT returns.
  • Oversee the company's financial systems, ensuring they are effectively managed.
  • Lead the finance team, including recruitment, training, and professional development.
  • Manage Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and Cash Management functions.
  • Complete financial forecasting and develop comprehensive budgets.
  • Lead and manage the entire annual audit process.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with the bank, including completing quarterly financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including managing company insurance policies.
  • Oversee the renewal of company insurance policies, including credit insurance.
  • Handle various ad hoc projects and analyses to drive continuous improvement within the company.
  • Assess company performance through key data analysis, monitoring, and developing KPIs to drive improvements.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP Business One is highly desirable.
