Pastry Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at a stunning hotel in the Lake District. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Pastry Chef in running the dedicated pastry kitchen, creating high-quality pastries and desserts for our fine dining restaurant, afternoon teas, and other culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present high-quality pastries and desserts for our guests
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Pastry Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
  • Ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Contribute to the success of our hotel's culinary team, providing exceptional service and quality
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience working in a pastry section in a similar level of kitchen (hotel, gastro, or restaurant to a minimum 1 rosette standard)
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality pastries and desserts
  • Excellent attention to detail and passion for your craft
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
