The role of a Special Needs Teaching Assistant is to provide support to students with mild to severe learning difficulties in a primary school setting. This position requires the ability to work closely with teachers, students, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant at our Cranleigh-based primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons, providing behaviour and pastoral support, and assisting students with their individual needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in special education, while working in a challenging yet rewarding setting. You will have the chance to work closely with other professionals, including teachers, therapists, and educational psychologists, to ensure that students receive the best possible support.
Salary: From £85 per day
