Job Summary

The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Endoscopy department at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

Assist with the Straight to Test bookings and cancer waiting list management.

Communicate with patients, consultants, secretaries, relatives, general practitioners, and other hospital staff to ensure a proficient service for patients and clinicians.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, working 18 hours a week, with additional working pattern details: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Proven administrative experience, including initiating and maintaining office systems.

Experience of handling telephone enquiries and managing own workload.

Excellent communication and data entry skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously.
