About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Utility Controls Manager to join our client's team in Warwick. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust control strategy and approach across various workstreams, including HR, Finance, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and approve comprehensive controls strategies and approaches.
  • Analyse existing RACMs and process designs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement new RACMs, ensuring seamless integration and end-to-end design.
  • Update process maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to incorporate new controls.
  • Support user acceptance testing and provide assistance in controls testing when required.
  • Coordinate with Assurance teams to integrate revised RACMs into overall frameworks and update central systems.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Extensive experience in controls design and implementation
  • Sound understanding of RACM and process design methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of automated controls and their integration into systems

Estimated Salary: £48,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is based on industry standards for a Utility Controls Manager in the Utilities sector in Warwick, UK.
